If you're a business owner in the US, UK, UAE, Australia or Singapore and you're thinking of hiring a Facebook ads expert in India, you probably have four worries: will we be able to talk, will I see what's happening, will I keep my ad account, and what's the catch with the lower price? I'm Aditya, a solo Meta Ads and Google Ads consultant working remotely from Jaipur. Here are straight answers.
How do time zones work with a remote ads manager?
Mostly they don't get in the way, because ad management is async work. I build, test and optimise campaigns during my working day, and you read the update when yours starts.
Calls still happen. India is 1.5 hours ahead of the UAE and 4.5 to 5.5 hours ahead of the UK, depending on daylight saving, while Singapore is 2.5 hours ahead of India. For the US and Australia the overlap is narrower, so we agree one or two call windows a week that suit you, early morning or evening on my side.
Day-to-day questions go over WhatsApp or email, and reporting that is clear enough means you never have to wait for a call to know what's happening.
How will I get reports?
On a fixed schedule, in writing, and led by the numbers that connect spend to money: cost per lead, cost per chat or ROAS. Not reach and impressions on their own.
A good report answers three things: what you spent, what you got for it, and what changes next. I'd also give you read access to the same dashboard I'm looking at, so you can check any number yourself.

Do I keep full access to my ad account?
Yes, and this is the one I'd never compromise on. I work through partner access on your Meta Business Manager. Your ads, audiences, pixel data and history stay in your account, so if we stop working together there's nothing to hand back.
Be wary of anyone who wants to run your ads from their own account. If they leave, or you fall out, your history leaves with them.
Is it cheaper, and what's the catch?
Usually yes. An India-based freelancer typically costs a fraction of a US or UK one for similar work, because living costs here are lower. I'm not going to quote a price list in a blog post, because the right fee depends on your market and spend. Ask for a written quote and compare what's included.
The catch is real, and there are three parts:
- The time-zone gap. Fast replies are possible, but a live chat at 2pm your time may not happen.
- One person. I'm solo, so you get me directly, but there's no team behind me if I'm ill. Ask any freelancer how they cover that.
- Your market is different from mine. Most of my numbers come from India, where clicks and leads cost far less than in the US or UK. Don't expect the same prices in your country.
That last point is worth saying plainly, because it's where overseas buyers get misled. My case studies show what I do with a budget. They don't promise your cost per lead. As a hypothetical example, a lead that costs a few cents in one market could cost many dollars in another.
What proof can you check?
The numbers on my results page are the ones I use. I've managed 85 ad accounts and ₹86.0L (about $103K) in ad spend, with 72,837 leads and conversions across them. For Meta alone it's ₹51.4L (about $61K). One hair-transplant clinic's cost per chat fell from ₹93 to ₹33 (about $1.11 to $0.39), and a career institute got 2,766 leads at ₹34 (about $0.41) each. Two of my longer engagements are from before 2023 and come from my own records, which the page says.
Two of my Google Ads projects have been for overseas clients, one in Ontario and one in the UK, and both came through a third party. I'm now looking for clients directly. I'd rather say that than pretend I have a long list of US logos.
Should you hire an India-based Facebook ads specialist?
It makes sense if you want direct access to the person building your campaigns, you're comfortable with async updates, and you like the idea of paying less for the same hands-on work. It makes less sense if you need an in-person team or a call every morning.
If you're still working out who to hire and what to ask, my guide on how to hire a Facebook ads expert has the questions I'd put to anyone, me included.
When you're ready, look at the results, including the campaigns that didn't work. Then get in touch with your business, your budget and your market. I'll tell you honestly whether Facebook ads are worth starting for you, and if you want to hire a Facebook ads expert, what I'd charge.
Want me to look at your ads?
Tell me your business, your market and what isn't working. I reply personally, usually on WhatsApp or email. I work with small businesses in the US, UK, UAE, Australia and Singapore.
